Firstly, there was a blackout on the 1st day of the new year / valentine's day :O
Visiting still went on~ the blackout lasted from 11am all the way to 1.30am >.<>.< Anyway, since I had to sleep, I went to bed in a humid and zero ventilation room, sticky and smelling of mosquito repellent. It was quite impossible to sleep :x Then, when I couldn't take it anymore, the lights suddenly came on! I screamed "HALLELUJAH!" & hugged my sister LOL. Afterwards I took another shower & went to bed feeling clean and cool ^__^ PRAISE GOD. The electricity came back on when I needed it the most! & the entire day my family was quoting, "& He said, LET THERE BE LIGHT!" xD
Secondly, On the 2nd day, we went about our usual routine. OH WAIT. Actually I think the thing happened on the 1st day LOL. OOPS. Anyway, we visited this 姑姑's house, & when we were about to leave, saying our goodbyes, my 姑丈 revealed that he recently accepted Christ. It was a really amazing thing to hear, because, in Malaysia, and even more so in such a small town in Pahang, most of the people are used to praying to deities and Buddhist or Taoist etc. practices. I never walked into a house without an altar. Except my uncle's house that I always stay in. So, my 姑丈 talked about how his friend told him how good God is, and he invited my 姑丈 to go to church together with him. Guess what? When 姑丈 walked into church, he felt JOY. God touched his heart right at that moment. All along, he had been a free thinker. He only followed his wife's practices because she did them, and even though he's really old now, he experienced TRUE JOY through God! My Mum took her cue from there and she encouraged him to pray together with my 姑姑, and telling him that he cannot force her, because he cannot move her heart, only God can. She even shared her story of when she was a young girl.....
She remembered that back then, there were missionaries, and they gave sweets and pencils to the children around the town. She remembered this poster very clearly, that left a huge impression on her. It was like a comic, and it started with a farmhouse that had caught fire and was burning down. In the next picture, the farmer was sad and didn't know what to do... suddenly, he spotted something round and black on the ground. He kicked it over, and he found baby chicks under it, still alive. Their mother had protected them from the fire, and sacrificed herself.
She shared this story with my 姑丈, telling him that it was showing that Jesus had sacrificed himself in order to protect us. Anyway, I was really proud of my Mum, and I could see her joy in sharing and encouraging my 姑丈! Both my Mum and my 姑丈 were glowing as they talked about God, and especially my 姑丈, who glowed radiantly as he brought up God! It was an amazing thing to witness, and PRAISE GOD! God is GOOD!!
Love is God & God is LOVE.
And as for a recent happening, I want to thank God for encouraging me not to fall into temptation, and I'm glad I didn't give in ;)
I also want to pray for Uncle A, for the words and wisdom and that his mission will continue to flourish and sow even more seeds! :D And also, for the 4 of us, that we too do our best to help this mission! This is just the beginning, and it's so AMAJJING to see how Love can transform and touch hearts!
Also for amazing JMA. He is so amazing and so inspirational I can't begin to say.. everyone should read his blog heheh. His work is starting to show, so awesome! A recent news about some talkshow with Hwanhee, he said that an SME artist has been sending bible quotes as text messages to him, and Goo Hara also said that she had been receiving them from the same person as well. I have my own guess of who this mystery person is, but whoever she is, she is amajjing as well! :D :D
For Gillian's brother, and also my own siblings.
That they may grow closer to Christ, and that we are used fully to make that happen.
I know it's never easy, but through God, who can give us the words to say, the things to do, it's possible! :D So let's work hard together OK!

It may be tiring, it requires loads of time and effort and sometimes things don't go right, but watch over them and remind them that they must rely on You whenever they are faced with problems! That they will shine for Jesus' in everything that they do! (:

That every day, they wake up with thanksgiving in their hearts and to shine for Jesus in everything they do! The practices, the late nights, the hectic schedules, the vocal lessons, etc. Give them a good rest whenever they sleep and renew their bodies, mind and soul, ready to jump back on their feet and continue serving You!
